Review of Literature Introduction to earthquakes Earthquakes are a sudden and violent shaking of the ground, sometimes causing great destruction, as a result of movements within the Earth’s crust or volcanic action. Earthquakes is one of the dangerous and life threatening natural disaster which can come anytime and anywhere on the earth. Earthquakes can cause tsunami, landslides, mudslides, bigger earthquakes, and aftershocks. These can all cause significant damage property and buildings, death and injury to people and animals, floods, major disasters and emergency situations.
